Requirements

Under laws passed in January of 2016, California now requires that anyone who wishes to become a Home Care Aide is licensed by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) prior to entering a Client’s home.

Per CDSS, there is also a requirement that Home Care Aides have 2 hours of operational training and 3 hours of mandatory online training prior to entering a clients home.

Due to the transportation needs of our clients, we also require a California Driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

The State of California requires that Home Care Aides have a current TB test on file prior to going into a clients home.
